With our dance and teaching we aim to create a change in the way people experience and understand life, and help them experience tango’s essence: the ability to not be perfect and at the same time laugh about it, to understand deeper the person you have in front of you, and to make mistakes together, learn from them, and then keep moving and growing.
Carlos and Mirella Santos David – The Netherlands
Carlos & Mirella are partners both on the dance floor as in life. European Champions of 2017 and finalists of the Mundial de Tango, they have been together for over 9 years and have been happily married for 4 years. Together they strive for perfection in their dance & their company and they are constantly pushing themselves beyond their limits. Their motto is: “As a dancer you never stop learning”! The couple is known and loved for their elegance, subtlety and musical finesse as well as their spectacular and breath taking shows. They are based in The Netherlands.
Giuseppe Bianchi & Sabina Cipolla – Italy
Giuseppe and Sabina are the Directors of the Barrio Tango ACADEMY and MİLONGA DEL BARRIO in Rome. As the most titled Italian Argentine tango couple in the world, they represent the excellence of Italian tango. Giuseppe and Sabina are in fact the only European couple to have ever won the prestigious world title “Milongueros del Mundo” in Buenos Aires, a competition in which hundreds of dancers participate from all over the world, each year. They are also the only Italian couple to have won the European Tango Salòn Championship. Their style is characterized by great attention to the embrace, the music and the management of the track. We are waiting for you in our Academy for a lesson or in our Milonga to meet you and dance together.
Loukas Balokas & Georgia Priskou – Greece
Directors of TangoFix in Athens, Greece. Loukas & Georgia are a match made in heaven both in Tango and real life. After years of practicing and exploring the fields of improvisation and choreography in Buenos Aires and in Greece, they have developed their own personal style. The characteristics of their dance are the musicality, speed, alterations in the dynamic of the movement and the intense dramatic elements. They love toying with the classical as well as the modern form, mixing them.
Simone Facchini & Gioia Abballe – Italy
Artistic couple for over 20 years. European champions in 2013, vice world champions 2017, and world champions for the popular jury 2017. Dancers for important Argentine Tango companies such as Tango x2, tango seducción, tango rouge company, union tangier. Teachers at their headquarters in Rome and artists invited to major international festivals. Their teaching method is based on the naturalness and organicity of the movements, on the technique, on the elegance and above all in respect to the traditional culture of Argentine tango revised in a modern context.
Chloe Theodoropoulou & Dionisis Theodoropoulos – Greece
Dancers, teachers, and tango choreographers. Founders of TANGOPOLIS, the brand new tango hotspot in the heart of Athens, Chloe and Dionisis are a couple with a vast experience in teaching and performing. Technique, accuracy, authenticity, and elegance are the traits of their dance. Together they like to explore the limits and experiment with movement and music, creating intense dramatic elements while maintaining the communication and dialogue in their dance. For them, tango is a social dance, a way of expressing and communicating.

Ioanna Andrikopoulou & Jorge Tsaousoglou – Greece
Jorge and Ioanna built upon their musical, dance, and theatre education, with classes from top argentinean teachers. They are the founders of the Tanguera Tango Argentino Patras in Greece. Together they came sixth in the European Tango Championship of 2014 in Italy. Jorge and Ioanna are also the organizers of the Ionian Tango Festival, and have taught locally and internationally in festivals around the world. Currently they teach in Patra and Athens.
Iv Manos – Greece
Iv is the kind of guy that brings joy and happiness to each event. Tango found Iv in 2012, and since then he has been active in the tango community as a social dancer, DJ, and organizer of festivals and marathons. Social and fun, he is the person you need if you want the dancers to connect, laugh, and share a beautiful experience.
Ioanna Papachristou & Theodore Georgedakis – Greece
First and foremost, we are milongueros who love to embrace and cannot imagine our lives without the magic of a shared dancefloor. As experienced teachers we live and analyse tango in an holistic way, through its movement, its precious & colourful music, its history, culture and the breathtaking lyrics. Ioanna has a special interest in approaching the argentinean spanish language in connection to the poetry of tango, giving special seminars on the subject. Theodore, who co-founded the TANGart tango school in Athens in 2011, has a specialty on highly detailed tango musicality seminars and is an amateur bandoneón player. Since 2015, we perform and teach all aspects of tango, in physical and online classes. We can’t wait to meet you!
Mario Giattino – Caras de Tango – Italy
Caras de Tango is a new international tango event. It’s the first ever “travelling” tango festival and each year the hosting city will switch between Europe and North America. Our motto is ” Dos mundos una familia” meaning a unique tango community that moves all around the world!

Csongor Kicsi – Romania
Csongor is a professional Argentine tango dancer, teacher, choreographer and DJ. He became the youngest European Tango champion in 2015 in Tango de Pista. Beside tango, he studied physio and music therapy, and currently he is a PhD student.

Dance in Conversation by Ieva & Sergio – London
Dance in Conversation started as a live event in London, where we explore, through movement, the concepts of relationships, connection and presence. With Covid-19, it evolved as an online space were tango and its possibilities for personal growth are openly discussed in events and forums. Ieva Kelpsaite is a relationship coach and a tango dancer. Her work involves movement as a way to help people to communicate and express themselves better. For her, “tango is a gentle enquiry into your body, mind and soul that enables you to get to know yourself and in relation to the other”. Sergio Acosta practised journalism for years, writing daily news for the BBC and various newspapers. For him, it’s all about storytelling and he has found endless inspiration in dancing and intentional movement.
Vittoria Franchina & Edwin Olarte – Italy
We are professional tango dancers and teachers now based in Italy. We do both Tango Salon and Escenario. Finalists in the World Tango Championship, in the Metropolitano of Buenos Aires, 3rd place in Pelando Variaciones and others. We are also the organizers of the Colombia Tango Vacation and creators of the brand of tango clothes DeVyL.
Andrea Dedò and Carla Esmeralda Bianchi – Italy
Andrea Dedò and Carla Esmeralda Bianchi (Italy – Argentina) are lovers of embrace, connection and pure improvisation in tango.
Their style go deeper in music, elegance and harmonic movements. They dance and teach in Europe (based in Italy) and Buenos Aires.
Andrea Bassi & Alice Gaini – Italy
Dancers, teachers and tango lovers. Always looking for going deeper in their artistic research of tango roots and taste. They merged their previous experiences in dance and martial arts, their different personality resulting in an elegant, harmonious and lively dande. Directors of their tango school Milano Tango. As dancers they are taking part to many events and festivals. As organizer they are taking care of the Tango Championship of Milan and Lombardy since its first edition in 2016, as well as organizing events and tango holidays.
Francis Mbila – The Netherlands
The tango fever grabbed me 8 years ago and has not let me go ever since. Nowadays my free time is filled with tango: I am a passionate double role dancer, DJ, teacher and organiser of seminars and a festival. My Youtube channel El Tango Dojo contains tango performances that I recorded. I am determined to bring more young people to tango; in my city Eindhoven and anywhere else.

Monica Paz – Argentina
Monica Paz is the author of PractiMilonguero, the series of interviews to the old milongueros from Buenos Aires. She is not a convencional tango teacher because she has developed a method to transmit all she learnt from the real milongueros from Buenos Aires. Monica teaches how to express the music in the dance without thinking on steps, but dance deeply connected with your partner and the music. She has more than 20 years of teaching and International recognition to her background from UNESCO.
